Artist profile

Olga began to draw and paint when she was a child. Later, she worked in science and sales & marketing for many years but never stopped being interested in art. She picked up her brushes in 2000 and felt like she never ceased to paint. As a self-taught artist her approach always is to learn the basic skills first using any means available and to practise more. She loves details in a painting because they do tell a story of precious moments in life and show a beauty of the world around us. Her interests as an artist include still life, landscapes and portraits. She can paint any subject if it touches an artistic nerve, arouses admiration and gives an inspiration to transfer it to paper or canvas.

What can be more beautiful than flowers? Floral portraits are the most loved part of her portfolio in the preferred watercolour media. Bright and colourful acrylics and traditional linseed oils are the other mediums she enjoys painting with.

She exhibits and sells her works at art shows around Sydney. Her paintings live happily in homes of her friends and clients in Singapore, Japan, Russia, Australia and the US.
